Thank you for contacting the Sunbeam® Brand. We value your interest in our product and we are glad to answer your inquiry about our product, which is the Sunbeam® Renue Heat Wrap. Your heating controller includes an auto-off feature. This feature is designed to conserve energy by automatically turning off after a certain amount of time. The massage feature will automatically turn off after 30 minutes of continuous use. The heat feature will automatically turn off after 2 hours of continuous use. The Auto-Off Indicator (Figure 2, letter E) will flash when the heat auto-off feature is activated and the pad shuts off. To reset after Auto-Off, press the heat and/or massage control button until the desired setting is reached. NOTE: After a power outage or if the pad is unplugged, the Auto-Off feature automatically resets the time Hope this information is useful. Take care and have a good day!
