Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inconsistent heat The heat I would describe that comes from this pad it similar to a stove top. It’ll get super hot on the lowest setting then cool off. Then up and down up and down. For a while I had an issue with it being too cold on the lower settings. Now it’s out of control. I use my heating pad for sensory issues and need consistency. Also it kinda feels unsafe bc sometimes one side will be super hot and the other cold. I feel like this is a wiring issue or complication. Before this I had there flexible pad. But it went out sadly. And I miss it but this is all they had at my store when it died. Also dislike this one has a 2 hour shut off, since I often fall asleep or use this for long periods of time I miss my 30 minute to 1 hour shut off.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Melted I used as directed for about 3 or 4 and when I pulled it out again to use it it was crumpled in the corner and seemed to be melted together. I tried to uncrumple it and now there’s a small hole in it. Very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good I bought this like a month ago and it helps for about 20 minutes then it shuts off by itself. It says it has auto shut off in 2 hours for peace of mind but not true. Heating is good and it does help but not enough time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My BFF Okay so I’ve read a lot of negative reviews and honestly what are you people doing to your poor heating pad?? I’ve had zero problems with mine, it works wonderfully every time and I use it quite frequently. Sunbeam makes good products and providing you’re intelligent enough to use it properly it will last you and function as it’s designed to. Honestly people will whine about anything to just get attention. Stop slandering good products because you can’t operate a simple device.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't warm up on any temperature. I bought this and pretty much on the first try would heat up properly. Home Hardware (bought on vacation) would not take it back even with the receipt. Then back home, bought one from Walmart and the exact same problem. Walmart wouldn't take it back either...sanitary and health reasons for both stores. So here I'm out almost $60 and decided to write Sunbeam. They are replacing it. I hope it's not the same one as it's a piece of garbage!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dangerous -- do not buy This pad has had very little use and was stored carefully in a closet. When I recently tried to use it, the indicator light blinked on and off and the pad didn't warm consistently. I opened the control panel to discover sparking and a burned area where the power supply attached to the circuit board controlling the unit. This posed a very serious fire exposure if used near flammable products.
