Hello. Thank you for reaching out to us. The "F" means there's a fault on your heating pad. There are several causes to a flashing control or a control displaying “FF, F1, or F2”: 1. Product is plugged into an extension cord/surge protector and not plugged into a direct wall outlet. 2. Product wasn't plugged in properly. To FIX this problem, do the following to reset your product: 1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical connection. 2. Unplug the cord from the actual product itself (if your product has a detachable cord) 3. Re-plug the cord into the product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete.(if your product has a detachable cord) 4. Re-insert power cord back into a wall outlet. Your Sunbeam® Premium Heating Pad with XpressHeat® has a 5-year limited warranty. If this doesn't resolve your issue, we'd like to kindly request that you contact us directly. If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9am - 5pm Eastern Time. Thank you! Sunbeam® Consumer Care

Hello. Thank you for reaching out to Sunbeam® We're sorry to hear that your heating pad is not hot enough, this is not the experience we want you to have at all. Your satisfaction is our top priority. Please try the following troubleshooting steps: 1. Unplug the heating pad from the wall outlet for at least 30 seconds 2. Verify there is no physical damage to the cord, controller, or heating pad 3. Verify the connection between the heating pad and the controller is tight 4. Verify that the power cord is plugged directly into a wall outlet. Be sure that this heated product is used only on an AC supply circuit of the proper voltage. Do not use with an extension cord. Do not use with generators, power converters or inverters. 5. Try a different appliance (such as a small lamp) in the outlet to ensure the outlet is functional. 6. Try plugging the heating pad into a different outlet to see if it works in a different outlet. We will make sure to forward your feedback to the appropriate department for further review. Please note that your Premium Heating Pad with XpressHeat® has a 5-Year Limited Warranty. For further assistance, please reach out to us via our Contact Us form on our website.
