Rated 2 out of 5 by Annoyed1 from Another one busted ughhhh! This is my 4 purchase of this Sunbeam heating pad. Just like with the other previous ones, the infamous blinking F is flashing. I’ve tried the resets suggested on here but nothing. It couldn’t choose a worse day to shutdown. This is beyond frustrating and I’m so over using this particular brand going forward. Short life span, unuseful instructions on how to “fix” them, waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mark40511 from So far so good. Best heating pad Unless this quits on me, this is the best freaking heating pad I've ever had... To give an example, I bought 2 at the same time. I cheap store brand and this one (to have a backup) The store brand one is cheaper (but not by much) and it feels like cardboard... although it does get equally as hot... This is super soft and not stiff (best thing about it)... Let me just say I only use this to keep myself warm in my cold room, on low heat occasionally bumping it to high if a get a chill... but it mainly says on level 1... but on level 6 it's pretty hot... as hot as any heating pad I've had in the past. I have washed it on delicate ONE time in the front load to get any chemicals off of it... and air dried it...and it's worked fine after washing...I try not to bend it or put pressure on it...hopefully this will keep it going.... but heating pads in general aren't very reliable. We shall see and I will update

I like that it covers the entire area I need to treat without having to move it from spot to spot to help with my sore muscles. It also heats up fast and stays at the setting I need. I love the quality of this heating pad and I'm definitely happy with it!

It won’t cut off by the button so I have to unplug it. I plug it back up and it works for about 10 minutes. If I had a receipt and box I’d definitely see what the store could do if anything at all. I loved it now I’m very disappointed

I love how you can set it to stay on or shut off in two hours. only down part is in last few years I have bought two. And not this one is down to and I'm on the look for a longer lasting one. At $55 a piece they should last longer than a year. Keeps going to E and stops heating .

For the first time I was able to have heat on my entire back at the same time! It felt soooooo good! No more moving the standard size heading pad over and over to get heat where you need it. For those of us that when we need heat on bigger spaces on the body this is the one!

I suffer with a lot of pain do to an illness that I have. All of my right side is always hurting. I laid on the heating pad where it covered all of my right side... I slept with less pain last night. I love this because it heats all of my right side.

The material is so soft, the pad heats quickly and gets very warm. You can adjust the heat and also turn off the 2 hour shut off if you want to. The whole pad can be machine washed which is amazing!!! The size of the pad is perfect to cover your whole back or other large areas as needed. Very impressed!!!

I've worked in manufacturing for over 25 years and my back has paid a price for it over time. This 12 x 24 inch flexible, plush fabric heating pad has done wonders for my aches and pains. The king size pad is very soft and is a pretty shade of blue. You plug it into the wall, turn it on, and it starts working in 30 seconds. There are six heat settings to choose from and the heat covers every bit of the pad. You have the option of spraying water on the pad to give off moist heat as well. Likewise, the pad is machine washable. Sunbeam touts the pad as increasing blood flow to accelerate tissue healing. I agree that this heating pad reduces my back pain and makes me feel so much better throughout my day. It is so easy to use. Anyone young to old can manage the control. I highly recommend this Sunbeam heating pad.

It is a replacement for a great unit that worked wonderfully for many years. That’s why we ordered the exact model as a replacement. Unfortunately, this product is a shadow of the original unit. This product simply doesn’t get hot, it barely gets warm. What happened to a formerly great product?

Nothing feels better after a long shift of lifting, pushing and pulling than heat applied to tired aching muscles. Love the larger size as my previous one was small and I had to move it around to hit all the affected areas. I highly recommend this product.

I really enjoy being able to use something that I have had for years and not worry about it not working. I as most people have back issues whether it's just normal muscle pain or cramps this does the job and is comfortable and easy to use.

I probably should have taken it easy after such a long layoff, but I was anxious to get back in shape. After over doing it on the machines, I found myself with aching muscles. The heating paid I had been using for years was not flexible unough to surround my strained leg muscles. I discovered the Sunbeam XpressHeat Heating Pad XL on a recent trip to the drugstore. Not only does it heat up more quickly than my stiff, old, heating pad, it is soft and pliable. I was able to wrap it around my calf and secure it in place with an ace bandage. It worked very well when I draped it over my shoulder and was comfortable to lay on. The pad has a timer that can be set to turn it off after 2 hours. This is a very useful feature as I have been known to forget to unplug my old pad, wasting electricity. I am very pleased with this new pad.

There are so many amazing features of this heating pad like: the size (bigger than any I’ve ever seen), it heats quickly, gives me more than a couple settings, but the best is that you can get it wet to have moist heat! I’ve never had that. Believe me, it’s amazing. I’m very glad I have it.

The control know has up and down settings to fund the right temperature, and can be set to stay on or go off automatically after two hours. The size is perfect for whether you need to apply it to your back, shoulder or leg, etc. The cover is a soft comfortable material.

Read all other ideas, including plug back in holding on button will reset it. Would reset and light up, show number 1 the. Go back to off and start blinking F again. From the website appears a faulty wire or connection, would like any other ideas. Very disappointed.

My only criticism is that it does not have any strings or straps with which to secure it to a body part. I ended up adding large safety pins to be able to keep it wrapped around my head when I had severe headaches.

The hot heat helps with relieving my pain. You can control the heat on the white remote panel that’s connected to the heating control. I set it on 3, it does get hot, just enough to help me with my shoulder.

I've purchased so-called XL before and none was this large. The different heat settings make it ideal for the kind of days I've had in which I use it. It has been great for my occasional backaches and shoulder pains.

Currently, it is working well, my husband has chronic back pain from his work and this pad has been helping subside the pain somewhat. Previous heating pads I had bought stopped working in a matter of months so I hope this one will not be the same.

I can put it on my back and go to sleep because it will turn itself off. Also, it is washable. This is a definite added bonus. If you use a heating pad often this one is a great choice. The settings are very easy to understand and each heating level is very different from each other. The cloth cover of the heating pad is very soft and comfortable on your body. It's awesome compared to the plastic heating pads that were uncomfortable and got too hot.. This one is soft and heats fine. I would recommend trying this one because of the look, the feel and length it is very comfortable. I like the Auto Off feature.

The replacment not so much. Heated up immediately but gave me a F error after a few seconds. Unplugged it and error goes away only to appear seconds later. The pad part is great - the controller portion not reliable at all. Mad.

This XL pad is a great size to be able to wrap around an arm or leg! I love the steam effect that I will sometimes use. Gentle enough for my elderly mom in law, but strong enough for my husband.
