Rated 1 out of 5 by Very Sore Comsumer from Like Most Others - Short life span Within the first couple of weeks, started with dreaded flashing F. I'd unplug it and it work for a 10 minutes or so and start flash again. Now, It just flashes no matter how long or how many times unplug it. I don't care about the warranty - Its a defective product, and it'll only be replaced with the same defective product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by zukus from love the added size and plush feeling I needed a larger heating pad so I bought this for the size. Yes the size is wonderful but is also has other features I liked. It has an option where you can put this on a timer so that it turns off in 2 hours or you can just leave it on until you turn it off. I like the auto off in case I sleep on this. It is plush. It feels nice directly against your skin. It has a digital display and 6 heat levels to choose from. IT appears that the heating mechanism responds quickly. I started at level 6 and after about a minute realized that was too much. I turned it down to level 3 and it seemed that in less than a minute I was down to a tolerable heat. Although I have not washed this yet the electronics on it do disconnect and you can machine or hand wash on gentle. All in all it has all the features that I wanted in a heating pad.

We only had the heating pad for about 2 months and it started flashing the F and won't work. We thought it was something we did wrong. And kept trying different things. But alas, nope nothing. So frustrating.

I needed a new heating pad and this XL Xpress heating pad is an upgrade to what I had. I used this on my back and shoulders recently. The plush cover is so comfortable against my skin. The pad heats up quickly and the digital buttons are a plus. The extra large size covers a big area of my back all at once and provided relief to my sore muscles instantly. Love my new heating pad.

The old one we had was about 9x12 --okay for spot heat or cramps but not great for lower back or neck and shoulders. This one is good length--it wraps from my side to side. I also like the fabric on the usable side, its soft and has a short pile. Its well constructed and I love the setting for auto off after 2 hours--very clever

I am very impressed with the large size of this heating pad, plenty of space to cover large areas at a time, the outside has a plush liner for extra comfort, it's so soft and comfortable! This heating pad is great to soothe all of your aches and pains! Great for anyone who needs the warmth of a heating pad, the quality is amazing! Definitely recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by floridian from WONDERFUL upgrade We always have a heating pad in the house - growing up we had one and as an adult we have one but it's usually the light blue inexpensive version everyone knows....you know the one - it's small, doesn't get too hot and has controls that you never seem to be able to see well enough to know if it's on high or low. Fast forward to this luxury version. It's perfectly sized to support a larger adult or area but without the bulk. The flimsy light blue cover has now been upgraded to a lux version of a soft covering that stays in place and the controls...well those are now easy to see and large enough to not fumble around with. Everything about this is exceptional. Yes, it's a small thing but when you are in pain or not feeling well, it's one less small hassle to contend with...does the job without the annoyance with ample coverage for adult sized needs!

The 12x24 size covers the area I need to get pain relief. I do like that it has a digital screen making it easy to see even in the dark. There are 6 heat settings giving me flexibility in treating my aches and pains. I like that if I fall asleep it will shut off in 2 hours. Soft fabric covering makes it feel good against the skin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by wanted heat from Disappointment Purchased today at CVS for just shoir of $50.00. On 6, the highest setting, it barely gets warm. That's b-a-r-e-l-y! It's already in the box and going back to the store tomorrow. Sunbeam has always been known for the quality and the fact that they had the hottest heating pads. I guess things have changed. My mother's heating pad, which is a Sunbeam is decades old and still works like a charm. This one doesn't even begin to compare.

So I walked in the door and pulled out my Sunbeam Heating Pad with Xpress heat, the King size one. Plugged it in and turned it on. Within a very short time my back eased up. The Sunbeam Heating Pad XL works wonders. It heats up super fast, and is very soothing, I like you can set it to stay on, whereas other heating pads shut off automatically. You can raise or lower the heat, I prefer the highest setting. I would defiantly recommend this heating pad. Thank you Sunbeam!

I have been getting muscle soreness from daily walks and after I get home I sit with this on my lower back. I love the different settings it has a and that it heats up almost instantly once I turn it on! It truly helps and is amazing! I love the soft plush that is on it also! And it is extra long so it almost wraps completely around me covering my entire lower back. It is perfect!

First time I bought this heating pad it was over a year ago. decided on it because it came covered not like the cheaper ones with the case that the heat pad slides into and snaps over it. Within 6 months it quit working. About 3 weeks to one month ago I decided to give this Sunbeam a second chance. Bought same heating pad. After several days of using it I turned it on this evening, sparks & smoke (electric short) came out of the controller (on/off - Temperature) of course pad instantly stopped working. I won't be wasting my money on this or any other Sunbeam heating pad. Advise anyone else considering buying this to not waste your money. Heating is just like all other heating pads that are much cheaper. Price is ridiculous for no longer than these work. .

Rated 1 out of 5 by Do not recommend from Highly disappointed! Do not recommend. Within only 1 month of utilizing my heating pad. I noticed that the intensity of the heat had decreased and within days there after, a flashing F consistently showed and wouldn’t disappear. I made multiple attempts to reset the device are instructed from the troubleshooting advice and to no avail , my efforts continued to fail. I’m truly disappointed as I’ve been in pain and thermo therapy is imperative to mitigate the pain.

The cord is very long which makes it easy to use wherever I’m sitting/laying and it heats up in seconds. The pad it self is large and cover is super soft. The digital control is so easy to use and I love having the option for auto-off in 2 hrs or to stay on. It does get very hot so I usually start off on level 1 and it works great.

I love that it has the 2 hour shut off feature so I can lay on it and if I go to sleep I don't got to worry about turning it off. It feels really good on my painful neck and shoulder so I'm sure it will help anywhere it would be needed. And machine washable pad now that's a big bonus in itself since everyone knows how hard it is to keep them clean.

The variable heat settings provide comfort level choices for everyone and the auto shut off was a must have. I does heat up quickly and maintains a constant temperature. I really like the fact that the cover is machine washable, so much more hygenic then older heating pads.

It is large enough to go down ones back or to wrap around a sore knee! The features that come with this pad are great. First, it heats up quickly.Then, it has a control to turn on the power, raise the heat up or down, and best of all, an automatic turn off button. This is a good safety feature to have.

It covers the length of my entire back! No more having to switch the heating pad after so long! Then, the material! It is a nice soft plush fabric which makes it very comfortable! With the control, you have the option to turn off and on, set it to stay on OR to go off in 2 hours! I also am loving that there are 6 different heat settings. You can make it warmer or cooler! It’s great! And what makes this heating pad stand out above the others is you can machine wash the pad! You just remove the cord and wash it! You make sure it’s completely dry and you are good to go! My back felt so good after heaving this Sunbeam XpressHeat Heating Pad on it for a while! I love this and highly recommend it! It gives you relief from back pain!

This is the 2nd sunbeam heating pad ive purchased within a month of eachother. First one stopped getting hot after 3 uses. This one has been flashing "f" after the 5th use. I tried all the connections, no extension cord etc, tried holding down power whilst plugging in (a few times). Nothing works. Done with cheap sunbeam products

It has 6 different heat levels and it has the feature to turn off after 2 hours. Their is another feature where it will stay on till you turn it off if you need it for longer then 2 hours. It has a nice fuzzy side. My dog enjoys it Everytime I get up and have had it turned on she takes over my spot to enjoy the warmness.

I, love the six settings and the Heating pad heats up in 30 minutes which for me is a plus coming from using an older one that didn't heat well and was uncomfortable. I, like the Highest Heating setting because for me it help's me better but could be different settings for you. Its made perfectly and the Quality is totally Amazing.

This pad comes in a cushy cover, that is easily removed for washing, and has a long cord that fds up into the pad for easy storage. There are 6 heat options, which is glorious, and an optional 2 hour auto shut-off timer. Plus it has the Express Heat option which will heat up within 30 seconds. I LOVE this product!

(my other heating pad has hard plastic design and this one does not, its very comfy). It is a royal blue color so really nice. Easy to use controller and long cord adds to the convenience. I would not mind it being a bit hotter, but that is probably just my own tolerance. Still hot enough to sooth.

This heating pad is WONDERFUL! Its flexibility makes it easy to wrap around things like bum sore knees. A couple things struck me about this one. 1. It's not quite as big as I expected. 2. The controls are great. 3. It's very soft and flexible. Even though it's not as wide as I expected, it's become the favorite heating pad in the house. My husband and I complete to get to it first.
