Nice and Long
Just simply a great product from Sunbeam. The cover is soft and you can feel the heat within seconds. This Heating pad is much longer than a normal heating pad and can cover more body area. It has 6 heat settings so you can have it warm or on the hotter side too. Plug it in and turn it on, you will feel it working right away. It also has an optional 2 hour auto shut off in case you fall asleep with the heating pad on. After use, the pad is machine washable. Me and my husband fight over this- it helps that much. I will need to buy another so we both have our own.

Excellent customer service
I bought mine a few years ago and it stopped working and they are sending me a new one for free, just have to return the old one with a prepaid shipping label that they provide. I will always buy sunbeam heating pads from here on out cause they really take care of people that buy their product. 5-8 days and i will have a new one. And they have a 5 year warranty on their product. Sometime people forget there is a customer service line to call only took about 5 minutes on the phone and they went above and beyond. Love sunbeam defiantly buy more products of theirs.

I use this heating nearly every day. It's Great!!!
I have a rare autoimmune disease affecting all the nerves in my body from L2 - S3. This disease is extremely painful. I have found using the stay-on option, with low heat, helps relieve the pain in my legs, thus allowing me to sleep at night. Also, the stay-on option helps alleviate my lower back, muscles, and nerve pain following my PT sessions. Due to my disease, I use this heating pad nearly every day. This heating pad is a "must-have" for my medical condition.
I like this heating pad: 1) Sunbeam, a very reputable company, makes it; 2) The XL size allows me to drap both of my thighs and tuck it in on the sides; 3) The stay-on option is a must to help treat my disease; 4) The ability to wash this heating pad is essential.

Nice heating pad
This is a very, very soft pad and very silky feeling. It's very forming and not stiff like most.the material around the pad is connected to the pad which is very nice so there's no sliding around. The control panel has a large and 6 settings! It's very nice that it has an auto shutoff in case you forget or fall asleep. The cord is very long which makes it easy to use just about anywhere. Works really well and doesn't get to hot to where it burns you and relaxes muscles really well! This pad heats up pretty fast so no long waits to treat those aches and pains!

Doesn't get very hot.
I love how soft the cover is although it does shed a bit. I love how flexible it is. I can very easily wrap around my neck and shoulder area. I love that you can throw it in the washing machine. I love how large it is.
If you like to use heading pads on high settings this is not the pad for you. I generally have used low settings in the past and medium when the pain was really bad. I've never tolerated a high setting before. This pad I use on high frequently and sometimes that is not enough and I pull out a old stiff one. I also had the fabric split on one less than a week after receiving. It was only about an inch so I just sewed it myself. Sometimes the pad cord easily comes unplugged from the main cord.
Regarding the 'F' code I've seen several ppl mention: just unplug the pad from the wall for thirty seconds and plug back in. Simple as that.

Fantastic Heating Pad!
This heating pad is fantastic! It heats up so quickly! It is very plush and very large. Wonderful quality! It has six heat settings so however much heat you like, you can find that temperature. I love that it has an option to turn off after 2 hours, or you can select to keep it on. The controls are easy to read and operate and it has a nice display that lights up for use in the dark. Another plus is that it is machine washable. Overall this heating pad is very well designed and easy to use, and provides great heating! I highly recommend this heating pad!

Heats quickly
I am always cold so I am loving this heating pad by Sunbeam. High quality company that makes great products. This heating pad is 12" by 24" so it is really nice to sleep with and to use for sore muscles. It is dark blue and so soft. The controls are easy to use. Has a express heat so you can feel the heat almost immediately which is a great feature. Has an optional 2 hour shut off for safety. It is flexible not stiff and uncomfortable like the older types. Can be machine washed following the included directions. Great product and I recommend it.

Poor electrical connection!!???
I’ve had problems since my first use! The connection at the pad itself is loose and even duct tape to help secure it doesn’t get! I bought 6-9 months ago and will never buy Sunbeam brand again. I paid premium price for a defective product. And when E for error comes onto the settings YOU MUST GET UP AND UNPLUG IT TO RESET IT!!??!! When you’re in pain that’s the last thing you want to do! Frustrated and still hurting.

Good size
This heating pad is the perfect size to cover my back, belly and even to wrap around my leg.
I'm getting old, lol with age for me comes some aches that like the warmth of a heating pad.
I tend to use it on my calf the most since I get a lot of cramps there.
The fact that I can control how much heat to have is great and I can put the timer on and be done. The heat is evenly distributed on the pad.
The controller is large enough and easy to use. Cord could is long enough for me.
The fabric is nice and soft but does attract dust and pet fur.

Nice & Long
The Sunbeam Xpress Heat Heating Pad XL is nice and large. When laying flat, it fits nicely at the base of my neck to below my buttocks (12" wide X 24" long). It works nice if laying on your side, as well. It comes with a lengthy cord, so you can easily lay in bed and have it plugged in, but still have the control at your fingertips. As far as the heating, it does get warm, but I didn't notice that it would become too warm. I have not tried it yet using the misting method for deep penetrating pain relief. The pad is machine washable (cold water) and dryable after unplugging the cord from the pad, which makes it nice if you are using a muscle relaxer rub while laying on the heating blanket. It comes with a 5 year limited warranty.

Great Product
I have tried other heating pads before but none compares to this one. I love the size and the soft plush fabric - not plastic - of this heating pad, its soo much more comfortable. It warms up very quickly - like 30 seconds - with 6 heat settings along with a two hour auto shut off which I absolutely love. The length is 24 inches and covers from my shoulder to my lower back. I primarily use it after a long day of sitting all day at work, it helps to relieve the tension in my shoulders and my lower back. I would completely recommend this product.

Ex-Large Heating pad
The sunbeam heating pad with xpressheat king size has been very helpful with soothing my back pain and shoulder pain. The heating pad is large enough to cover my entire back and wrap around my shoulder when needed. I am very pleased with how fast this heating pad heats up as well. It is easy to control for your personal needs with 6 different heat settings. The heating pad cover is very soft which makes it very comfortable while lying on it. Overall, I am very pleased with this heating pad to comfort my aches and pains after a long day.

Lots of Coverage
I just got the chance to try the Sunbeam XpressHeat Heating Pad in King Size. It comes with six heat settings and the controller is digital. I love the generous size of this heating pad. It’s 12 x 12, and the fabric is so soft and flexible. This pad heats up quickly, and it has an automatic, optional 2 hour shut-off. The pad is machine washable. This heating pad is great, especially when I have back pain. Other pads are too small and I had to place it “just so”, to hit the right spot. That’s not a concern anymore. I love this heating pad.

Poor design
Comfort and product use sustainability has engineering flaws. The electrical connection at the pad is bulky and uncomfortable. Worse is the electrical connection from pad and cord, which is designed as a disconnect. Not sure what purpose this disconnect serves other than annoyance. R&D was not on their "A" game on this one, disconnects constantly. The unit then produces a flashing "F" ... as do I. Requires unplugging, replugging and getting settled in again, OVER and OVER. Disappointing for the money, could have done better R& D

Has quality control become an issue?
The first extra large (burgundy color) Xpress heat heating pad I bought lasted several years of almost daily use for my mom. I do senior home care, and over a decade I have given many of these soft, extra large heating pads as gifts and received good feedback. However, I must wonder whether quality control has become an issue over the last several years for this Sunbeam item. The last two pads I bought (dark green) were for myself and proved to be major disappointments. One lasted about two months and just stopped working. I believed it was a fluke. There is so much to like about this pad and that is why I purchased another. I should have known something was wrong with the second one because it didn't seem to get hot enough. I used it exactly 3 times before it died, flashing "F" on the hand control. I will not buy another, but I am hoping to find a longer lasting heating pad that has all the nice features of this one.

Fast heating and great comfort
As someone who has had many years of joint and muscle pain I am no stranger to heating pads. I can honestly say that this heating pad is one of the best that I have ever used. I appreciate the XL size which accommodates larger areas like my lower back/sciatica. It heats up really fast, has 6 heat settings and has optional 2-hr auto-off or stay on options. The fabric is extremely soft, comfortable and flexible. An added plus is the moist heat option, just spray the fabric with water. This is an absolute must have. I would recommend

Heats up in 30 seconds!
The heating pad from Sunbeam is really good. Once you plug it in and turn it on, all it takes is about 30 seconds to heat up. The pad is wrapped with a very soft and durable material that is stitched together well. The power cord is 10 feet long so you don't have to be right next to the power plug. The controls are easy to use with 6 different heat settings, an automatic shut off after 2 hours and an option to disable automatic shut off. I definitely recommend this product to anyone wanting to relieve stiff muscles in their back.

A bit disappointed..
Ok first to be fair the Sunbeam XpressHeat Heating Pads XL does the job exactly as stated, both dry & moist heat, 6 settings & optional 2 hour shut off. The thing that gets me as how they can call this "king size"? It's marked 12"×24" [n the box to me that's standard, nothing king sized about it! I have a heating pads that's twice the size of this one & made by Sunbeam also. I just am very sad that this isn't as "king sized" as I was hoping it would be, but it does do the job, after switching it around to where I need the relief.

Best product
I have been using Sunbeam King size heating pads for a number of years now. Having fibromyalgia they get a lot of heavy use. The XpressHeat is a model up from the one I have usually purchased at a local store but can no longer get locally. I went on line and decided to try the XpressHeat model and I am not disappointed. After several months of use I will again say Sunbeam is the only brand I will use. Do they eventually "burn out"? Yes, because they get such heavy usage but they last much, much longer than any other I have tried.

Heats quickly
I am absolutely in love with my Sunbeam XpressHeat Heating Pad. I have never had a heating pad that heats up so quickly. The cover is so velvety soft. And get this, it has 6 heat settings on the digital controller. I don't have to use a towel with this heating pad, the velvety soft cover works perfectly. I so recommend every family have one in their home.

Not as good as other Sunbeam products
I have bought a few products from Sunbeam and have good experience with their quality. That’s why I chose Sunbeam again when I bought my king size heating pad couple years ago. However I have same experience like other reviewers. The heat pad suddenly started flashing "F" on the display screen. I unplugged and re-plugged but it only lasted for a few seconds and stopped with F. I only used the lowest heat level 1 or 2 to warm up for easy sleep during the winter. My sunbeam water boiler lasted 10+ years but not the heat pad.

Works good!
As I get older I seem to have more and more aches and pains. I do a lot of lifting and moving around at work daily. I've been using this pad a few nights a week while I am relaxing and watching TV. I like that it's a nice size and convenient to move around. There's 6 settings and I feel the heat within less than a minute. I like that I can disconnect the controller and wash it too. It has an auto shut off but I've not used it for 2 hours straight to know how well that feature works. Overall, very happy with this heating pad.

Love the extra long design!
I love the extra long design of the heating pad. It extends on my entire back, which is nice to get everything affected when I'm sore. This heats up very quickly, which is impressive compared to other heating pads I've used in the past. I like that there are 6 heat settings from low to high, with the option to have an automatic 2-hour shut off time. I find it hard to believe that you can wash and dry this (after unplugging). It's a nice feature but scares me just a little bit! It seems counterintuitive to put something with an electrical socket in a washing machine. I'll be interested to see how that pans out when I'm ready to wash it. Overall, I definitely recommend this, especially if you are buying for back issues and need the extra long heating pad.

Bad product/customer service
I’ve had this heating pad for just over a year and now I’m getting the F code that won’t reset. I do not misuse this heating pad in any way. I contacted customer service but they are saying that because I lean up against the pad with two pillows behind it that that is the reason it’s not working now. This pad is touted as flexible and machine washable, but because I leaned on it against two pillows, it couldn’t handle that and broke?? What?? I am extremely disappointed with their customer service. Sunbeam does not stand behind their products and the service rep was not helpful at all nor willing to rectify the faulty product by sending me a replacement pad. Their 5 year warranty is all smoke and mirrors. Apparently after reading more reviews it seems as though this is a common scenario with this pad. I would not recommend purchasing it as this company’s warranty and customer service is horrible. What has happened to customer service???

Fabulous heat and features - that don't last long
So much to love about this pad - it's size, it's fully washable, it has six heat settings, it has an always-on option vs having to contantly turn it back on. So why three stars? I have eight of these pads, two bought each year over four years, and all but the brand new ones quit heating fully after about 1 1/2 years of daily use. What is a six now is about a two on the brand new ones. These are supposed to have a five year warranty but no one honors it. So I have six sigificantly reduced heat pads and two brand new ones that are awesome as the others used to be. These cost double to a comparable sized pad without always-on or fully washable, not a bargain. If these would be updated to last like new for the full five years of the so-called warranty, I'd buy them forever.

Great brand product features
This is an excellent heating pad in regard to size of pad and the length of the cord (9ft), nothing worse than a short cord.
The quality, features and my overall experience always leads me to Sunbeam.
I've always found the best experiences comes to purchasing from name brand producers.
Thanks,

Perfect Size!
I have not had a new heating pad in years. I was so impressed with this Sunbeam XpressHeat Heating Pad XL. My old pad was much smaller in size and had a plastic enclosed heating element with a flannel like pillow case cover over it. This pad is large 12 x 24 inches, and the heating element is incorporated into the cover itself which is plush and soft. You can disconnect the cord, and the pad is entirely washable which is a great feature. The size allows me to drape it on my shoulders or place it on a large area of my back or stomach. It heats up fast, in about 30 seconds, and along with a 2 hour timer it has six heat settings. You can even dampen it for moist heat which makes it very versatile. It comes with a 5 year warranty. I am very happy with this Sunbeam product.

Great size and features!
Sunbeam is a well know quality brand that has been around for years. This heating pad is 12" x 24", which is a great size for large areas (like your back) but slim enough to drape over your shoulder or leg. The Express Heat literally takes seconds to get warm. There are 6 heat settings and a large easy to read controller. The cover is a nice navy blue. The instructions are very clear to read and easy to understand. The instructions also have pictures on them. The heating pad folds nicely for storage.

Outstanding Product!
I love this XL Heating Pad! It's almost twice the length of my old heating pad which is great when trying to apply heat to my upper and lower back at the same time. Being longer also lets me rap it around my entire knee area which is a huge plus. The material is so soft and looks really nice. The controls are easy to use and I like the 2 hour shut off so during winter months if it gets really cold I can lay on the couch with this under the covers and if I should fall asleep I know it'll turn off after 2 hours which makes me feel safer than it just running non stop. Due to bad back and knee issues this pad will get heavy use and I'm sure it'll be up to the task as all my other Sunbeam products have worked extremely well and never had any issues. I highly recommend this pad to all.
