Thank you for contacting the Sunbeam® Brand. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and we are sorry to hear that your heating pad is not working properly. This is not the experience that we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help. If your heating pad is not working properly, please try to reset the heating pad and follow the troubleshooting steps below: 1. Turn the heating pad control to the "Off" position and unplug the power cord from the electrical connection. Let it rest for 2 minutes. 2. Check if there is no physical damage on its cord. 3. Check the product plug connection that directly plugs into the product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete. 4. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the pad's performance. 5. Hold the power button down and re-insert the power cord back into a wall outlet at the same time. If the above troubleshooting steps will not work, take note that your heating pad has a 5 years of limited warranty. If you have any questions about the warranty or want to get warranty service, please contact us directly or fill in the "Contact us" link provided below so that we can provide you with a better solution. https://www.sunbeam.com/support/contact-us Have a nice day!

Hey there! We are sorry to hear that the heating pad control is flashing F. There are several causes to a flashing control or a control displaying "FF, F1, or F2": 1. Product is plugged into an extension cord/surge protector and not plugged into a direct wall outlet. 2. Product wasn't plugged in properly. To fix this problem, do the following to reset your product: 1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical connection. 2. Unplug the cord from the actual product itself (if your product has a detachable cord) 3. Re-plug the cord into the product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete.(if your product has a detachable cord) 4. Re-insert power cord back into a wall outlet.

To wash this heating pad, first disconnect the plug from the outlet and detach the control connector from the heating pad. You can wash it by hand or in a washing machine using a slow speed. To wash it in the washing machine follow these directions: Fill washer with warm water. Add the minimum amount of all-purpose detergent, agitate to dissolve. Add heating pad and soak five minutes. Agitate two minutes. Spin. Fill for cool rinse, agitate one minute then spin. Dry in automatic dryer on high heat, five minutes only, or line dry. Remove damp heating pad from dryer and drape to finish drying. Do not iron your heating pad. Do not plug in the pad and the control connector until they are completely dry.

The pad and fabric are all one piece and it makes a huge difference over the traditional plastic type pad with a removable fabric cover. This pad is much softer and more easily conforms to your body than a two piece pad. I just recieved 2 of these pads that I ordered(they are buy one get one free right now). Have only been using for a couple of hours so far, but definitely a huge improvement over my old vinyl pad.

If your heating pad is flashing F, we recommend unplugging it from the electrical outlet, then unplugging the control from the heating pad. The actual operating temperature of a heating pad depends on many factors. Sunbeam heating pads are engineered to produce heat that will not exceed the Underwriters Laboratory temperature limits (176 degrees F) when used on the High setting. However, you may want to use a lower heat setting depending on application and preference.
