Hello. We are sorry to hear that your heating pad keeps showing “F” after short time using. There are several causes to a flashing control or a control displaying "FF, F1, or F2": 1. Product is plugged into an extension cord/surge protector and not plugged into a direct wall outlet. 2. Product wasn't plugged in properly. To fix this problem, do the following to reset your product: 1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical connection. 2. Unplug the cord from the actual product itself (if your product has a detachable cord) 3. Re-plug the cord into the product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete.(if your product has a detachable cord) 4. Re-insert power cord back into a wall outlet. If you have any more questions, please reach out to us via ttps://www.sunbeam.com/support/contact-us or through LiveChat. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9am -5pm Eastern Time. Thank you! Thank you for reaching out to Sunbeam®. We are sorry to hear that your heating pad quit working. That is certainly not the experience we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help. Control Blinking, No Heat or No power may be an indicator that the product is not receiving enough power from the source. To fix this problem, please follow these troubleshooting steps in order: 1. Unplug the heating pad from the wall outlet for at least 30 seconds 2. Verify there is no physical damage to the cord, controller, or heating pad 3. Verify the connection between the heating pad and the controller is tight 4. Verify that the power cord is plugged directly into a wall outlet. Be sure that this heated product is used only on an AC supply circuit of the proper voltage. Do not use with an extension cord. Do not use with generators, power converters or inverters. 5. Try a different appliance (such as a small lamp) in the outlet to ensure the outlet is functional. 6. Try plugging the heating pad into a different outlet to see if it works in a different outlet. Your Sunbeam® Premium King-Sized Heating Pad has a 5-year warranty, If the above resolution will not work please contact us directly or fill in the "Contact us" link provided below to provide the best resolution. Thank you for contacting the Sunbeam® Brand! We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and we are sorry to hear that your Sunbeam® Microplush heating pad. It's definitely not the experience that we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help. If the control is blinking or flashing "F", the unit is not heating or not powering on, it might be because the unit does not establish a secure and enough electricity connection from the power source. It is important that the unit should be plugged into the wall outlet and not to any substitute outlet since all heated products have higher power requirements. Please check for any possible physical damage on the unit or cord and try the following troubleshooting steps below if there’s none. 1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical connection. 2. Unplug the cord from the actual product. 3. Re-plug the cord into the connector, making sure the connection is secure. 4. Re-insert power cord back into a wall outlet. Note: Power strips, extension cords, surge protectors, adapters or other such electronic devices may negatively impact the performance of your product. Power fluctuations from your power company due to inclement weather will also cause this issue. If the same problem happens and if you have any questions about the warranty or want to get warranty service, please contact us directly or fill in the "Contact us" link provided below so that we can provide you with a better solution.
