Thank you for reaching out to Sunbeam®. We are sorry to hear that your heating pad controller keeps on flashing. That is certainly not the experience we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help. Control Blinking, No Heat or No power may be an indicator that the product is not receiving enough power from the source. To fix this problem, please follow these troubleshooting steps in order: 1. Unplug the heating pad from the wall outlet for at least 30 seconds 2. Verify there is no physical damage to the cord, controller, or heating pad 3. Verify the connection between the heating pad and the controller is tight 4. Verify that the power cord is plugged directly into a wall outlet. Be sure that this heated product is used only on an AC supply circuit of the proper voltage. Do not use with an extension cord. Do not use with generators, power converters or inverters. 5. Try a different appliance (such as a small lamp) in the outlet to ensure the outlet is functional. 6. Try plugging the heating pad into a different outlet to see if it works in a different outlet. Your Sunbeam® Premium Standard Size Heating Pad with Compact Storage has a 5-year warranty. If the above resolution will not work please contact us directly or fill in the "Contact us" link provided below to provide the best resolution. Thank you for contacting Sunbeam®. We appreciate your interest in our products. At this time, all our heating pads auto shuts off after 2 hours of use. The 2 hour automatic shut off serves as a safety so we can prevent any issues or hazards if ever it was forgotten to turn off. We hope this helps!
