Machine wash only the cover in cool water on gentle cycle, or hand wash. Use mild detergent. 4. Hang to dry or machine dry on gentle, cool cycle. 5. Do not wash heating pad. Wipe heating pad with a damp cloth only, as needed. Do not dampen the cord and connector. Hang to dry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Constantly stops functioning: design problem If you read reviews of this heating pad on any site, you will find the same complaint - at some point the light will start blinking and the pad ceases to work. Sunbeam's only advise is to unplug and re-plug the pad rather than addressing what is obviously a problem with the product (as so many report the same problem). I suspect there is a problem with the wiring inside the pad as if it is repositioned repeatedly, I can get it to work again ..... until the problem inevitably recurs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stops working, defective and cheap Unit stops working and when I try to plug and replug all the connections, nothing happens. I'm so tired of having to keep buying cheap products that don't last because companies can't be bothered to actually make quality products anymore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blinking control lights and stopped working Have had for less than a year and infrequent usage yet still wound up with what I see is a common result. Blinking setting lights even after unplugging/plugging in again. Sigh. obviously a design issue. Maybe they can call it a disposable heating pad and charge less? Plus when it did heat up, it would get really hot, then cool down significantly and I’d have to eventually turn it on high. Not a great product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work I have purchased two of the Sunbeam extra-long heating pad ProHeat cost over $40 from Walgreens. The first one after 6 weeks it just kept blinking and would not work. The second one I purchase today and no matter what setting it put it on it gets warm for about 3 to 5 minutes and and then cools back down no matter what setting I use. I'm sixty-two I know how to use a heating pad. I have used various Brands over the past 20 years and this has been the worst experience ever when it comes to heating pads. I use them for severe pain from arthritis and tendonitis and degenerative disc disease I need something reliable. There's something wrong with this product. Please check it out. I'm assuming it has something to do with the heating sensor in it. I've gone to some of my friends on Facebook and they have had some of the same problems. I'm a military wife and have friends all over the world. How do I get your research team and find out what is going on with the heating pads that does not look good for your company. Thank you for your time. I will be taking this back to Walgreens again tomorrow and never buy another one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money I bought both the XpressHeat King size and the XpressHeat regular size. They barely heat even on the highest setting. They both are made of a very stiff cardboard-like material. I do like the soft covers. However I cannot recommend these heating pads. I have always purchased Sunbeam and have been very pleased. No more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great heating pad....when it works I think this is the 5th sunbeam heating pad we have owned. They really do the trick WHEN THEY WORK. They are by far the best heating pad foe providing even and soothing heat. However they really need to work on their controllers though. The other 4 pads have all had to be replaced because they were flashing F and no amount of massaging, electronic trickery, plugging and unplugging would convince them to resume working. Luckily we got them through costco and they honored the 5 year warranty but without that we wouldn't be on even our second heating pad.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay To be honest I have had this pad for less then a year it is almost used daily it was amazing at first but then it was ok it would get hot then cool down and would have to turn it up and in times when on level 1 it was so hot felt like burning other then that no problem till today when my controller quit working I did the unplug and plug in and the controller won't turn on so not sure if I want to try a different brand or what
