Rated 1 out of 5 by blanketless from Worked a week Worked great for a week, then broke. Light started blinking on the controller and could not be reset, which seems common with this one. Not worth paying to mail it back to get another one that may break again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Trhousholder from "Flamed" out (No, it didn't catch fire) Have had this blanket for about 5 months. It got hot beautifully at first. It got so warm I could barely stand it above 1 or 2. As time went by I noticed the edges were not getting warm. Assumed I had not noticed it before. I am always careful to not pull on it because I did that to the last one and broke the wires. I have babied this one. Today, when I am needing serious heat for my back...nothing. Barely gets warm. One spot in the middle of the blanket gets warm but just barely. Have a queen with dual controls. Both are set on 10. It's barely warm. I had to grit my teeth to put out the money for this because it was $90. Definitely NOT money well spent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by KarL from Love it! Bought a king size blanket, it has dual controls. Heats up quickly, great for winter. The only thing I don't like is the heat controller, you have to press it 4 times to get to the hottest setting or turn it off (the clicking is noisy & sometimes wakes up the other person) With the old one, you could set the dial to any heat setting & click once.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Warm Nights from Great Heater/Touchy Electronics Very satisfied with how quickly the blanket heats the bed since we have a very cool bedroom (typically 50 to 60 degrees in Winter). Lowest setting (L) is adequate during the night. Had to add an electrical outlet adjacent to the control since the controls don't like extension cords. The lights dimmed for an instant today which caused the controls to blink and required unplugging the electrical cord from the wall and unplugging from the blanket to reset the controls even though the blanket was off. It's hard to unplug from the blanket due to two stiff hooks that keep it from inadvertently coming apart. I'm concerned that the internal wires will eventually separate at this connector because of all the pressure required to unplug. Other users have commented about this questionable design feature. If this blinking continues the blanket becomes unacceptable even though it heats great otherwise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TammieG from I Love it! I would climb into bed tired and it would be so cold that I would shiver and I'd end up awake and miserable waiting for the bed to get to a comfortable temperature.. So, I ordered my electric blanket about a month ago and I am so happy I did! It is so nice to climb into a preheated bed.. And I set the temperature to where I feel like and I stay warm and cozy all night! And if I do have to get up to deal with a sick kid, when I climb back in, it's still nice and warm. My sleep has improved and with it my mood.. Lol! I only wish I'd ordered it sooner..

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bluebet from Good buy; I would recommend purchase. The husband really, really likes this blanket - it's lightweight which is extremely important to him. It's working great. Can't ask for anything more than that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by mishka from Worked for couple months. Now waste of money Just wanted to let you know how truly disappointed I am in your product. I got the Sunbeam® Full Quilted Fleece Heated Blanket in December. It was awesome for a few months, and then it started not getting as hot as it used to be. I have it on H now and there is barely any heat. I have reset it (pulling the cord and the plug pit and letting it sit and plugging it back in) and no luck. I have done that several times.

Rated 1 out of 5 by disillustioned from poor product I bought a blanket last year and after a couple of months it stopped working. I contacted Sunbeam and they had me send it back to see what was wrong. They would fix it or send me a new one. I had to pay $15 to send it back. I got a new one. It worked great for about three weeks. I put it on the bed this week, doesn't work. Won't buy a Sunbeam again . I wish I had mine from 20 years ago, it lasted for 18.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Yvonne from Mediocre My niece purchased the twin size and told me she can't set it above a 4 that her was so toasty. I bought the full size and at it's highest setting it is far from hot. There are warmer spots than others, but in no way is this enough to keep anyone warm in New England this winter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Old Sarge from Lightweight with lots of warmth Purchased about December 2016, this blanket replaced an older electric that didn't heat much at all. This new one is light, yet it gives so much heat that I have to turn it down every night. Price was very good and unit operates super good. One negative is the two controllers are heavy, connected to stiff cords that do not sit well on a side table. Unit should have a "hook system" of some sort to hook the controllers to a headboard, or at least b e engineered to sit flat without movement!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stormer from Very Nice Blanket I bought this Blanket to warm up my bed before Sleep. It has very nice and easy to use controls, A preheat option which I always use, and 20 Heat settings, although I usually only use the first 7, otherwise it gets too toasty warm. You can feel the wires zig zag through the blanket, so if you're a sensitive sleeper you may want to put another blanket between you and this blanket, Don't worry it has no problem heating up over the blanket. Thanks for the quick Delivery, I was Very Impressed

Rated 2 out of 5 by MQ345 from More than half the blanket won’t heat up I got this Sunbeam heated blanket for a Christmas present from my in-laws two months ago. I’ve notice that there are a ton of cold spots on my blanket when I plug it in and use it. The only spots that get warm are around the edges and by the plug in portion itself. I am using it right now and I barely feel any warmth coming off majority of the blanket. I also have been having problems with the controller blinking and just shutting off (has happened more than 10 times in 2 months).

Rated 3 out of 5 by JackD from Same quality as most heated blankets My experience is that no matter which heated blanket I buy, the heating ability gradually diminishes over time. I absolutely enjoy using them. When used most on cold nights in New England, I end up replacing the blanket each year. The materials are a bit different among types and brands, but they all tend to last me a year. So I've begun buying the less expensive blankets once a year and they have performed the same as more costly ones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by marjee from Works like it should! Bought this for hubby as a Chirstmas present - the price buying it online directly from Sunbeam was 1/2 what I would have spent anywhere else - and free shipping. The product arrived as stated, on time, and was exactly as stated. It works well - at first MY side of the bed (of course) wouldn't work - the light just kept flashing on the control . We unplugged and replugged the cord into the wall and it's worked fine ever since.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Vidikat from How did I live without this? I bought this about a month ago when the cold weather set in. I hate heating the whole house and thought this would be great. I have a queen bed, but got the smaller blanket so it would be simple with one control. It does NOT heat up like a heating pad, so at first you'll think "huh?", but then you realize IT WORKS. I love it. I heat up the bed before crawling in and then turn it down. Very soft too! Excellent product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by chilly in the praries from Perfect for really cold weather! I bought this blanket a couple months ago and it has been great help to keep me warm. It's very light weight, easy to use and gets warm in no time so I don't have to use it all night, so far happy with my purchase. I already recommended it to a friend who ended up buying one as well. Colour is close to what the website shows. I haven't needed the 10hr auto shutoff since i get really warm within an hour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kitchings from Heavenly!! I received this blanket for christmas and it's been nothing but amazing! I'm a paraplegic and freeze at night when my husband is at work and this blanket keeps me warm as can be. The king that I have has two controllers, one for him and one for me, he gets really hot at night and keeps his side off. It works great for us, so idk why anyone else would have troubles with it. It gets really warm as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cat65AZ from Comforting Heat I've had my blankets and have loved them for years. I continue buying them as gifts for family and friends. The only bad thing I could say is that the controller was changed and not for the better. I also have the heated Throw which could be longer to cover your feet. I end up with the plug part up near my chest so I can tuck the other end around my feet. This design could be corrected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DollyD from Nice Soft Blanket, Warming is Quick I bought this blanket on sale, BOGO for $99. That was a really good deal for a very good warming blankets. I chose the blue and beige and I am very pleased so far. Blankets heat up a cold bed quickly and put out a soothing warmth. I personally feel electric blankets should only be used to heat up a cold bed and only used for short periods of time near your body for health and safety reasons.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Chris0758 from loved it....until it broke after a year. I was so hoary with this purchase during the first winter I had it but when I pulled it out a year later it no longer got hot. so frustrating. you can also feel the wires inside the blanket very easily. I added a star because I like that the heat is easy to adjust and turns off by itself after 10 hours. I can't imagine buying this again though just for it to break again...

Rated 1 out of 5 by NicoleF from Bad blankets I have bought a blanket from Sunbeam every year for the last 4 years. Within a month they all stopped working. They will give very little heat at the highest setting, less that the lowest setting. We tried unplugging them and waiting a few minutes them plugging them back in. They just don't work for longer than a month. That's $150 down the tubes EVERY YEAR!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Brightsunshine from Warms the bed cozily, pretty color I bought the blanket for my queen size bed, a bit longer on sides, but works for the bed. Warms up quickly, love the two unit system, can regulate heat temps for both sides. Only slightly a bit dissatisfied that it is a bit thinner than my last blanket, as I do feel the thin wires through it, which was not as noticeable on my old blanket.
