Rated 5 out of 5 by Hellize from Sunbeam Mixmaster My mother bought a Sunbeam Mixmaster , I believe it was in 1940, she used it all the years we were growing up. She made cakes every week and lots and lots of mashed potatoes, she wouldn't take anything for it. She used it almost every day. I now have it, what a wonderful product. I would highly recommend it to anyone that likes to cook. It is easy to use and so dependable, she taught me to cook at an early age and so I have also used it many times. It was used so much that we wore all the paint off of it, it is now gray. I have had other mixers but nothing compares to a Sunbeam.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Grammy R from Beaters do not get close to the bottom of bowl Mixer can not beat eggs or any mixes. So frustrating... My old Sunbeam did a much better job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by CAROL73 from Do not purchase! I purchased this mixer a year ago. It came with only oneglass bowl, not two. This is my third Sunbeam mixer over a period of 48 years. My first mixers each lasted 20+ years and were precision appliences. My current Sunbeam mixer is noisy, has cheaply made beaters, just a clunky machine. I will be replacing this mixer as it is so very aggravating to use. It is cheap chinese.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cookies galore from Great mixer! Fast service, great product! Smooth running, plenty of power for cookies, cakes and breads. My favorite brand for mixers because of the offset bowl. Also essential, for me, is the ease of removing the motor from the stand so that it can fit into my limited space.

Rated 3 out of 5 by jkytown101 from Pin Hinge Broken - Can't find the part! Several years ago my daughter bought me a Sunbeam Mixmaster Hertage Series for Christmas. The button to lift the mixer head was always difficult to push in. Now it doesn't lift at all. I'm told the pin hinge is broken. I can't find this part anywhere. Such a pity and disappointment. I didn't get to use this mixer much at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Meg1317 from Durability and performance My mom had a similar model when I was growing up. She taught me how to bake using the Mixmaster. My sister has my mom's old mixer that is over 50 years old and still works! So I definitely can say that the Mixmaster is very durable and lives up to its performance.
