Rated 1 out of 5 by Peg leg from Not so great! I bought this a few weeks ago. I am so disappointed it. I have an older model that I love and I was hoping this one would be just as good, The tank is Hard to handle, it slips from my hands when trying to put it on the base. My older model has a handle on top to hold on to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by amylouise from Nice and quiet The Cool Mist Humidifier came quickly and was packaged appropriately. The price was right for the quality. We run it 24/7 and it takes up a gallon a day, which is one fill. We use filtered water for it, so we don't have to clean it so often and keeps the other stuff out of our air. We've had it a month, keep water in it, and haven't cleaned it yet. We do wash the filter about once a week. So far, so good!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Greeleyd01 from Puts out humidity but sounds like a jet engine Title pretty much sums it up. I can see the mist in the right lighting (basically dark with the glow of my phone) so I know it's out putting moisture into the air, but DANG our unit is loud!! We run it on high as we use wood pellets to heat our home and the air is very dry. We've had quieter units just didn't have same capacity as the sunbeam. Have to wait and see how long I can take the noise.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kevin2 from Usless I GAVE THIS PRODUCT ONE “STAR” BUT IT DOES NOT ALLOW ME TO SUBMIT IT, SO I INCREASE THE NUMBER OF STARS UNTIL IT ACCEPTS IT. BUT…….. REMEMBER I HAVE GIVEN THIS PRODUCT ONLY ONE STAR Total waist of money, there is nothing inside, there is no mechanism to produces vapor, it only has a fan which blows out the air (obviously) and the dial for the month of the year, which does absolutely NOTHING it just revolves and give you the illusion of that this apparatus is extremely sensitive and you have total control. Please, you take a look for your self. Oh not to forget that,…. it has a filter, which means you have to replace the filter once in a while, and that brings more revenue to the company for a useless THING. The cheaper option would be, just put a bowl of water on the table and turn on the ceiling fan.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mama south from Help !! Drying out in then North Worked for a long time ... Last time I filled it, it doesn't seem to use any water! It use to need to be filled at least once a day. The fan is running fine. New filter added. Checked the spring loaded release on the cap. That seems fine. The air is NOT over saturated with humidity. What do you think the problem could be????

Rated 4 out of 5 by Two Cents from A Product switch I have 3 Holmes HM1701 Humidifiers that I like farely well, except for major cleaning. The Sunbeam uses the same filter so I purchased it since Holmes discontinued making their product. The fan speeds are slower on the Sunbeam and therefore less noisy. I run the Holmes units on slow speed and the Sunbeam on high. The water output is about equal doing that. The Sunbeam has a poorly designed hand-hold on the water tank and requires two hands to place it on the base. The Holmes has a great handle and is a one hand operation. Have not taken the Sunbeam completely apart to clean, so I cannot comment on how difficult that is. The Holmes unit is built more substantially, and easier to move around. More care is needed to move the Sunbeam but it does the job. I run the units continuously in the winter to keep my place at 45% to 50% humidity, turning off one or two of them as required. Please note, that Sunbeam can revise these comments if they choose, per their Terms and Conditions agreement.
