Rated 1 out of 5 by Softball Mom from Blanket Stopped working in 3 Months I bought this blanket in December to use while my daughter was practicing softball. I Used this blanket maybe 10 Times. This was my first Heated blanket ever. I kept telling my husband it’s nit working right. He would say put another blanket over it. Ok well I did that and it helped. It felt like half of the blanket worked. Now we are here in March and it won’t heat up @ all and the lite just blinks on the remote. My boys love to use it but now it won’t even heat up @ all. Save your money ( 100.00) and try another Brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cillacella from Don't buy it. We bought a Sunbeam dual control electric blanket October 2017 by March 2018 only one side heated up. We called Sunbeam they said it was under warranty and so we paid 32$ in shipping and returned our blanked December 2018. It's now February 2019 and the controllers are blinking. We haven't washed the blanket or turned it up past level 4. Light use and well taken care of, but it didn't matter. Still broke after just 2 months. I'm not paying another $32 to ship them another broken blanket. Very dissapointed. Our son also has a blanket that quit heating up after just 3 months...just don't waste your money, it's not worth the trouble.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Binney from Very thin and “wiry” I purchased this directly from the manufacturer site to save a little bit of money on the middleman. I’m very sorry that I did. This “blanket“ is very thin and you can feel the wires very much. If this were on top of the sheet you would be rather uncomfortable and perhaps more but I didn’t even try it. I wanted to return it but the cost to return it was $28 and I’ve tried every single service such as Post office, FedEx, UPS. The cheapest way is $28 and it’s just not worth the cost of sending it back. So, I have a box of a junky electric blanket sitting in the back of my car

Rated 4 out of 5 by jpbmass from Best Heated Blanket I've Bought In A While We live in a old New England house with an un-heated upstairs bedroom; we depend on our electric blanket to keep us warm. Our previous Sunbeam was a different fabric, and my wife hated it because it was so difficult to get it smooth and square when she made the bed. Also, like most of the newer models, it would not preheat and never seemed to get really warm; we needed two blankets on top of the electric blanket to stay warm in our cold room. This new Quilted Fleece model feels more like a regular blanket and makes up just fine. Still marginal preheating capability, but it warms up immediately when you get under the blanket, and is noticeably warmer in operation than our previous blanket.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kimberly D from No longer working This blanket was bought for me as a gift last winter. I used it every night. I loved it. This winter we put it back on our bed and everything seemed to be great. We have been using it every night for the last 3 months. Just 3 nights ago I woke up cold. I checked the controller to make sure it was on. The lights were blinking. I tried to adjust the setting and turn it off then back on but nothing happened when I pushed the button. I unplugged it and plugged it back in but it just did the same, blinking and not allowing me to change the setting or turn it off. I left it unplugged all the next day. When I plugged it back it in it seemed to be working again, but 30 mins later it went back to blinking. When the controller lights are blinking the blanket has not heat. I tried for the last 2 nights and it has done nothing but blink with no heat at all. I am very disappointed. I rely very much on this blanket during the winter. Looking at the upcoming weather we will have freezing temperatures for the next 2 weeks.

I am so pleased and happy with the blankets I am purchasing a 3rd for the other guest bedroom. We had guests last weekend who asked about the blanket that was on their bed. They are buying one for their house! Duel controls are easy to use and is self explanatory, as is the on/off button. Great product!

I purchased online so not easy to return. I know it was plugged in right because the light was on and control warm. This was a king size so not cheap.
