Rated 4 out of 5 by from works great on my big dog! When i first opened the product it looked a little daunting because of all the buttons but once i read the instructions it was super easy to understand. After charging the collar and remote i fit the collar i will say the collar is HUGE and should have no problem fitting your dog's neck...i actually had to trim some off ao it wouldnt drag. After testing reaponse levels and using the collar for just 4 days i noticed a difference in myas behavior ..she likes barking at door bells and people walking by the house but now with just the warning tone she stops barking. I do wish the remote had a lanyard to wrap around my wrist during walks but overall very happy with my purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Took some time, but works At first I was a little hesitant to use the collar. My dog is nearly two years old and although she does listen to me most of the time, there are times where she can ignore me. Once I had the unit charged I put it on her and you could tell it was a little uncomfortable at first. I wasn't really a huge fan of using the shock as a tool to train behavior, but I do I have to say the results have been positive. I made sure I used a stern no when using the collar and my dog is beginning to recognize to understand when I say no. I will continue to use, but haven't really had the need as of late. I was given this item to use as a product test.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little training aid We are impressed with the sunbeam dog trainer. We have a larger lab/boxer mix that we rescued that had some undesirable behaviors. The sunbeam trainer really helped out with her training. I love the fact that it has a tone button and a correction button. The unit itself comes with 2 sets of prongs for long and short hair and the collar has enough slack to fit the largest of dogs. Setup was a breeze and very user friendly. I love the rechargeable batteries and not worrying about having batteries on hand. Overall the experience has been positive with the unit and we are happy with it. We received this unit as part of a review program.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent Training Collar I have now been using this dog training collar for several weeks now. My husband and I just had a baby, and having a loud barking dog around a sleeping newborn was just not an option for us. We have a mid sized dog with lots of energy who loves to "talk". After just about a week of using the collar he started really learning to settle down my only complain is that in the very beginning when we were needing to utilize the collar frequently the charge would die down quickly. Overall I am very pleased with this product. Disclaimer: I received this product as a sample to try and review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Safe for my small dog I thought this remote trainer was OK I am not a big fan of using a shock to control an animal but this product seemed very safe ... I thought the collar was a little bulky but it seemed to adjust after some trys.. The box part that sits on throat seemed bulky ....I tried the voltage on my finger to see how strong it was and I didn't feel a thing on both settings ...not sure if it's meant to be that way or not...it didn't hurt my dog he seemed to respond to it and back away ...After a couple of days he ignored it...After turning up voltage it worked again and seems to work better at higher setting ...My dogs behavior does seem to be getting better ...He is a 11 lbs chi and it's safe for him ...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Big but great! I was unsure about shock training my four-year old dog at first, but after researching some I was willing to give it a try. My main focus with it was trying to get my dog to stay within a certain area in our backyard, since it's a common area and has access to the front of the building and the road from the sides. I have to say that the more I used the product, the better response I got from my dog; all without seeing any negative effects from it. I wasn't a fan of how big and bulky it looked on my dog, but it got the job done! I received this product for free in order to test and review it... so glad I did!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good features - easy to use I received this product to test it out. Overall I am very happy with the product. It's a little expensive, and I wouldn't have spent this much on this device but since it was free, I gave it a shot. It was very easy to use and I love the rechargeable feature. It fit my large size Labrador very nicely and seemed to get his attention. He actually did not mind as much as I thought he would and it did help out quite a bit with the barking at other dogs. I would recommend this product, just not at this price. I would be willing to spend about $85 on a product like this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very effective This shock is a very effective training tool. My dog learns very quickly from negative reinforcement and the collar works great. The rechargeable battery is an excellent feature. I placed flags in the yard and trained the dog to stay in the yard as if an electric fence was installed. If you have the patience to watch your dog this can even be a very cheap alternative to an electric fence. Works great and highly recommend.
