Won't even turn on
I just bought this last night, got it all set up, put the batteries in and the light turns on but the motor doesn't. I will be returning this today. The only reason I am giving this one star is because the site won't let me post my comments with zero!

I am so sad that it broke so soon
I really loved it, I did, but the quality stinks. I didn't even get to enjoy it for a month. I was very carefull with it too, so I know that it was never dropped, it just one day stopped spinning when I was trying to sand down my dogs nail. I thought it was the batteries but nope, something inside is allowing the center axle to spin along with the sander, so the slightest bit of resistance stops it. So bummed out. It worked so well on the first day I tossed the receipt and box. ;-(

Have used this on my puppy three times. First couple of times she didn't like it but we gave her peanut butter to distracted her. Third time we just held her in our lap and she didn't care at all. The light on it really helps us see the quick as to not hurt our puppy. The guard was great when I first used the product but as I got more confident I didn't need it anymore. It is easy to switch between grinding heads. I would recommend this product.

The price is right for the item. But it should come with extra sanding disks for when they wear out. Seems to eat up batteries. Our old peddi paws was built alot better than this one is, having the lights are nice we will see how long it will work after reading other reviews on it. We have two dogs one boxer and a puggle. The guard dose get in the way once you get use to how it works you may find that it will work better without it on.

Ok, ive had this for about 6 months now and thought I'd finally write a review on it. i have a pure bred boxer that i have used this on now since i got her at 3 months old to help keep her nails in check and to avoid the cost of going to pet grooming service to get her nails done. I am very meticulous about getting her nails as short as possible so i only have to trim them once a month and it works great! I've had the motor running no less than about 45 minutes each time and it has yet to fail or disappoint. Personally i do not use the provided cap (guard) as I find it more of a hinderance than anything. the lights are bright enough to see the quick in her nails and fortunately I have steady enough hands that i don't have to worry too much about the guard. All in all, its a great product. But i will warn you that if your dog is NOT used to having their nails trimmed this way, it might freak them out a little bit until they get used to it.

I got this grinder about a year ago and it has worked great each time. Last time I used it I noticed that the power was a bit weak but switched the batteries and we were back to full power. It is so much better than going to the groomers!!

Ii have had my trimmer for years. Use on my greyhounds nails once a week to minimize nail trim anxiety. Battery life is great! IIdon't use the guide. Only issue I have is being able to get new grinding tools. Other brands don't fit this.

Just stopped working!
I have had this for 10 months and have used it fewer than 10 timed. Today something shifted and bow the Cottle and disk won't turn. Something inside is still spinning, but that doesn't help anything. Won't be buying another.
