I am so sad that it broke so soon
I really loved it, I did, but the quality stinks. I didn't even get to enjoy it for a month. I was very carefull with it too, so I know that it was never dropped, it just one day stopped spinning when I was trying to sand down my dogs nail. I thought it was the batteries but nope, something inside is allowing the center axle to spin along with the sander, so the slightest bit of resistance stops it. So bummed out. It worked so well on the first day I tossed the receipt and box. ;-(

Ok, ive had this for about 6 months now and thought I'd finally write a review on it. i have a pure bred boxer that i have used this on now since i got her at 3 months old to help keep her nails in check and to avoid the cost of going to pet grooming service to get her nails done. I am very meticulous about getting her nails as short as possible so i only have to trim them once a month and it works great! I've had the motor running no less than about 45 minutes each time and it has yet to fail or disappoint. Personally i do not use the provided cap (guard) as I find it more of a hinderance than anything. the lights are bright enough to see the quick in her nails and fortunately I have steady enough hands that i don't have to worry too much about the guard. All in all, its a great product. But i will warn you that if your dog is NOT used to having their nails trimmed this way, it might freak them out a little bit until they get used to it.

Sunbeam Lighted Nail Trimmer
I have 3 small-breed dogs and find this trimmer helpful. Doing 12 nails is very tiring, but the trimmer makes the job easier. I have only had it for a few months. So far, it is doing a good job for me.

Sunbeam Nail Trimmer case inferior
Ok if you are extremely careful and sit this trimmer on the floor or on carpet so it does not take a tip or falls any distance. The battery compartment locking device is inferior
