Rated 1 out of 5 by DissatisfiedCustomer from Doesn't last long Liked everything about this product...except the life span. Been using it regularly for an entire 12 or 13 days and it has quit on me. There were no complaints until it suddenly started flashing "F" on the display screen, and now nothing happens. What's worse, neither the manual nor the website make any indication that they have ever heard of such a Failure or malfunction with this product line. I can live with the fact that heating pads don't last forever, but would appreciate some level of acknowledgement from the manufacturer that these "could" burn out before you would expect them to.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ao5050 from Disapointed This was a great heating pad when it worked but it's lifespan is very short. Bought one and lasted about a year then I got the infamous flashing "F" so I called Sunbeam customer service and they were great, went ahead and sent me another one free of charge. But this one has lasted about 8-9 months and the flashing "F" is back on. No matter what I do to try to reset this pad I keep getting the same message. Will throw this away and go elsewhere to get a different pad. By far this was the nicest one and heated the fastest but very short lifespan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Goldie from Lasts & Works I have 2 of these, and love them. They are used daily, as I am in chronic pain. I noticed people complaining about the flashing F - Unplug the unit from the wall, check to be sure the plug at the heating pad is pushed in all the way, then plug it back into the wall. The F will go away. You MUST unplug it from the wall!

Rated 1 out of 5 by greenishblue from Flashing F not long after purchase-no longer works Given as a Christmas gift, it is now dead in July. Lifespan of 7 months is less than expected. Worked well when working.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MarkA from Very nice but SHORT life span Great pad but they don't last long. Have to keep it very flat or wires break. I'm on my third one. This will be my last. Too bad it's nice while it works !!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Margie from XpressHeat heating pad, King size I'm very happy with this product. To be able to find a heating pad that has the ability to produce heat continuously is very important to individuals that need some mild heat to affected areas in order to sleep uninterrupted by pain. It also is helpful to have the 2 hour cutoff for safety reasons when higher settings desired

Rated 4 out of 5 by TB1946 from lights up when turned off Bought this to replace another model king size Sunbeam pad because it died after a year which seems to be happening to a lot of them. Its a shame as they are WONDERFUL. When this new one is turned off the controller windows light up for a second or two every now and then. I use the pad so often that I don't unplug it. Its not an "F" that shows up; the entire pad just lights up and then goes off. Is this normal? Should I always unplug it when not in use? Instructions do not say to do that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by bartholomew234 from short life span Seemed like such a nice heating pad... washed it exactly according to directions, now I get the flashing "F" on the control pad and it doesn't work. no instruction manual or help guide from manufacturer explains what this means. It means FAIL, clearly. design fail!
