Rated 5 out of 5 by snap548 from Great I have had this ice cream maker for two years. It is inexpensive and worth its value. I use it about once every couple weeks. I have yet to have a problem with the motor dying. I found if there is too much ice, and not enough rock salt, the motor has a more difficult time. After finding a balance, this has been a great product for my family. The recipes are yummy as well!

Rated 1 out of 5 by mrpeepos from Motor not worth the price While using the machine for the third time, the plastic gears inside the motor started snapping and falling inside the bucket. If I had known they were plastic, I would not have purchased. Really, plastic gears inside the motor that is supposed to be designed to handle a good sized load. Still waiting on a response from Sunbeam or Jarden Consumer Solutions. Don't buy people!
