Rated 1 out of 5 by Crystal C from SO LOUD!! I bought this item this week and like that it stated that the item was quiet and I wanted it in my bedroom. This was so incredibly loud and of COURSE I bought it and threw out my receipt because I didn't expect an issue (my bad). I didn't really expect to call customer service and get too much help, but I decided to call anyway. I am not a big complainer. I called and spoke to Ahna (totally spelt wrong I am sure), but she was so great to talk with and she helped me out by getting me a replacement. Sometimes it can be so frustrating to deal with customer service especially in a negative situation like this. I will certainly continue to buy sunbeam products!! Thank you so much!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by KountryEdge from JUST A QUESTION! Can you tell me how high should the steam be seen OR felt when on high AND low? I bought mine approximately a month ago, used it twice, cleaned it and havent had to use it since until now. The heating unit is working correctly and you can hear it even boil. But I cant see the steam even when placing a light on it, and when I place my hand above it, its barely over 6" that the heat rises up too. If my memory is correct, that when i first used it those couple of times, I could see the tall steam shooting out of the top. (Or was that my cool mist which i traded for this?) Anyone? Thanks in advance and have a great weekend! :-) 04/22/17

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sarabara22 from Looked great but it was used Bought this from Walmart tonight. Got home, put distilled water in it and waited two minutes before turning on. Walked away for a few minutes and came back and the reset light was on. So I read the directions and did what it said when that happens. Turned it back on and still had the reset light on. So I opened the white part up, and sure enough there was minerals caked on the heating element. So someone must have used it and returned it. Walmart taped it back up making it look brand new. so I'm sure it would have been a great one if it hadn't been used.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Truespeak from Love it!! Have used this model for YEARS and love it!! Yes it makes a few slight sounds while working but I find them to be soothing water sounds (a bubble sound is made when water is replaced in the reservoir). Sunbeam makes a water additive for mineral build up which I use from time to time to keep my Humidifiers (I have two going during the winter) in tip top shape. Ive tried the cool air and never again!!! I don't like walking past a cold air mist in the winter time. You can also add vapor oils for cold congestion. Cant say enough good things!! I do a lot of research before purchasing an item and this item delivers on all fronts!! I love it!! Just purchase another one last week for my son who has gotten his own place and missed having one for his bedroom!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by honey107 from Happy with this Humidifier. Bought this for my 94 yr old mother. She recently moved into a senior apartment building with electric heat and her voice eventually became weak, could barely speak above a whisper. The first humidifier I bought was loud and not very user friendly. Returned that one and decided to try Sunbeam SWM-6000-BWM-115. Have only used this unit for 2 weeks, so far we are very pleased. It is quiet, easy to fill, clean and the auto shut off is a great safety feature for anyone who lives alone and has limited mobility. I don't understand the reviews stating this model is too loud. Mother's voice has improved and socializing again with her friends. By the way, two of her friends, living in the same building, are having their daughters pick up this same humidifier to use in their (dry) apartments. Thanks to Sunbeam for this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mapes from Disgusting we bought my this for our 6 month old baby's room and probably ran water through it 5 times before finding an inch of crystallized mold in the bottom. To think we thought by turning it on we were doing our baby a favor. I'll never buy a sunbeam product again. Here is just a piece of the mass amount of mold. And no it wasn't our water we used bottles and it still happened

Rated 5 out of 5 by Su Su from Love this humidifier!!! This is the second Sunbeam warm-mist humidifier I have purchased. I wore out the first one. Living in Idaho, where the winters are cold and the inside air gets very dry with gas heat, it's a must to have some indoor humidity. It's good for me, it's good for my pets, and it's good for the plants. I run it on low all day long, but not at night. It's very quiet, once it gets going. Got to keep an eye on the water level.
