Fruit Salad with Yogurt

Top your favorite fruit assortment with slivered almonds and serve with a refreshing yogurt topping made with ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and apple cider for a healthful, satisfying dessert.
Ingredients:
2 red delicious apples
1 banana
1 granny smith apple
2 bartlett pears
1/2 lb red or green grapes
1/2 cup almond slivers
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp apple cider
Directions:
  • Wash and core apples and pears, peeling if desired. Cut into 1-inch chunks. Cut bananas into 1/2-inch slices; wash grapes and combine fruits and almonds in a large salad bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together yogurt with spices and cider. Pour over fruit and mix well. Chill for at least one hour before serving.
