Care for all of Sunbeam® Warming Products is simple. We recommend that you wash the product before using it for the first time.

Before you wash your warming product it is important to:

• Disconnect the power cord. Then detach the control. Note: controls may not be washed.
• Always disconnect the power cord from the connection module.
• Carefully follow all washing instructions.

Machine Washing

• Pre-soak your warming product for 15 minutes in mild soap and lukewarm water.
• Wash your warming product with mild soap and lukewarm water on the delicate or gentle cycle in the washer for two minutes. Never use bleach.
• Rinse your product in fresh, lukewarm water.
• Spin-dry in the washing machine.
• Remove your product from the washer and gently stretch it so that it reaches its original size.

Machine Drying

• Preheat the dryer for 2 minutes. Use the low temperature setting.
• Place your warming product in the dryer and tumble dry for 10 minutes. Keep the dryer on the low temperature setting.
• Remove your warming product while it is still damp and gently stretch it so that it reaches its original size.
• Continue to air dry it on a clothesline or over a shower rod. Never use clothespins.
• Make sure your warming product is completely dry before you use it. Never use it while it is still damp or wet.

Caution: Never use commercial dryers or the dryers at your local laundromat. They get too hot and can damage the wiring of your warming product.

Hand Washing

• Presoak your warming product for 15 minutes in mild soap and lukewarm water.
• Gently squeeze your warming product so that the soap wrings through it several times.
• Rinse your warming product thoroughly in fresh, lukewarm water.

Air Drying

• Gently stretch your warming product while it is still damp so that it reaches its original size.
• Air-dry your warming product on a clothesline or over a shower rod. Never use clothespins.
• Make sure your warming product is completely dry before you use it. Never use it while it is still damp or wet.

• Never dry clean your warming product. Dry cleaning solvents can damage the warming element.
• Never use bleach or cleaning fluids.
• Never use a wringer.
• Never iron your warming product.
• Never use mothballs or sprays of any kind.
• Never turn your warming product on until it is completely dry.
