Melon Sorbet with Jalapeno

A sweet, chilled melon dessert with a bit of heat.
Ingredients:
2 cups honeydew melon
2 cups canteloupe
1 jalapeño, seeded
1 tbsp cilantro, chopped
Juice of 1 lime
1/2 tbsp orange zest
Optional: 1 tbsp fructose
Directions:
  • Peel, seed, and cube melons; place on a dry cookie sheet and freeze until solid. Place all ingredients into a food processor and pulse until mixture has a thick and smooth consistency. Serve, or can be covered and refrozen.
