A sizzling meal idea with chicken and bell peppers.
1 fresh medium onion, diced or 2 tablespoons dry onion
1 tomato, cut into small pieces
1 pepper, green or other color, cut into small pieces
1 1/2 to 2 cups cooked chicken or turkey (or other protein source)
1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
Saute onion, pepper, tomato, and dressing.
Add cooked chicken and thoroughly warm.
Serve in soft tortilla or pita halves. Taco shells may also be used.
Top with salsa and grated cheese if desired.
